Dan Ariely, world famous behavioural economist

On the occasion of Professor Dan Ariely who will receive an honorary doctorate from Erasmus University Rotterdam on the university’s birthday (Dies Natalis), we are inviting you to a unique business seminar on the evening of Monday 7 November organised by Rotterdam School of Management, Erasmus University.

Content
Dan Ariely will engage in an interactive discussion about how the principles of behavioural economics can help us gain insights in some of our irrational tendencies, specifically the mechanisms at work behind dishonest behaviour. This event offers you the exceptional opportunity to understand the issues companies face when it comes to morality and honesty, e.g. in client and supplier relationships. The implications of his research are far reaching and will help you to better understand financial crises, regulations, and day-to-day misbehaviours.

Duke Professor of Psychology and Behavioral Economics at Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and is the founder of The Center for Advanced Hindsight and also the co-founder of BEworks.
